Where we clean in Washington, DC

Northwest, Northeast, Southeast and Southwest, including the K Street corridor, Capitol Hill and Navy Yard.

DC is split into four quadrants that meet at the Capitol: Northwest, Northeast, Southeast and Southwest. Every address carries its quadrant letters, and the neighborhoods inside each one change how a cleaning job runs.

Building age, vendor rules, loading docks, parking and who is in the building at night all differ from one block to the next. The notes below cover what usually shapes the work in each area.

Getting around

Street closures for marches, parades and motorcades can shut a route with little notice, and event nights at the arena and the ballparks change traffic around Penn Quarter, Navy Yard and Buzzard Point. We build extra travel time into schedules and keep a backup route for the crew.

Outside the District

Our focus is the District itself. If you have a second location in Maryland or Virginia, mention it in your quote request and we'll tell you whether we can help.

Northwest

Downtown and the K Street corridor

Law firms, associations and corporate offices fill the blocks around Farragut and McPherson Squares. Most buildings have a security desk and vendor rules, so we sort out access before the first shift.

Penn Quarter and Chinatown

Office buildings sit above restaurants and shops, and Capital One Arena fills the streets on event nights. Mixed-use buildings often need separate schedules for the offices and the street level.

Dupont Circle

Offices, converted rowhouses, embassies and restaurants share the neighborhood. Rowhouse offices come with narrow stairs and older floors, which call for lighter equipment and gentler products.

Georgetown

M Street and Wisconsin Avenue shops, restaurants and older buildings with tight stairs and narrow service entrances. Storefront glass and entrance mats need the most attention.

Foggy Bottom and West End

Offices, university buildings, a hospital and several hotels. The academic calendar and hospital traffic shape the schedule.

Adams Morgan, U Street and Shaw

Restaurants, bars, music venues and small offices. Many places close late, so cleaning often starts after midnight.

Columbia Heights and Petworth

Apartment buildings, clinics, retail and small offices, much of it close to the Metro.

Tenleytown and Friendship Heights

Wisconsin Avenue retail, schools and medical offices.

Cleveland Park and Woodley Park

Connecticut Avenue shops and restaurants, a few hotels and apartment buildings.

Northeast

NoMa

Newer office and apartment buildings near Union Station. Glass, polished concrete and strict vendor rules are common in new construction.

Union Market and Ivy City

Converted warehouses, food businesses and studios, with concrete floors and loading docks.

H Street

Restaurants, bars, small shops and offices along the streetcar line.

Brookland

Catholic University, small businesses and an arts district near the Metro.

Southeast

Capitol Hill

Rowhouse offices, restaurants on Barracks Row and shops around Eastern Market. Expect old buildings, tight stairs and street parking.

Navy Yard and Capitol Riverfront

Newer offices and apartments near the ballpark. Home-game nights change traffic and access, so we schedule around the Nationals calendar.

Anacostia

Small businesses, clinics, community centers and churches.

Southwest

Southwest Waterfront

Restaurants, hotels and apartments along the Washington Channel, busy on weekends and event nights.

Buzzard Point

New apartment buildings and the soccer stadium, where event nights shape the schedule.
