School and daycare cleaning in Washington, DC

Classrooms, cafeterias, gyms and restrooms, with extra attention to what kids touch.

Schools and daycares are hard on a building. Small hands hit the same door handles and desks all day, and the floors take whatever the weather sends in.

Daily work

After students leave, we empty trash and recycling, vacuum or mop floors, wipe desks, tables and door handles, and clean and restock restrooms. Cafeterias and break rooms get a full wipe-down, including the floor under the tables, where the crumbs collect. Gym floors are swept and damp-mopped with products that are safe for the finish.

Products around children

We use cleaners and disinfectants suited to schools and childcare, and we follow the label on contact time and rinsing for anything kids eat on or put their hands on: tables, toys, high chairs. If your school has a list of approved products, we work from that list.

Breaks and summers

School breaks are when floors get the work they can't get during term. That means stripping and waxing, carpet extraction and detail cleaning of lockers and classroom corners. Summer is the longest window, and floor work takes time to schedule, so talk to us in spring.

Safety and access

We follow your visitor and vendor policies, including background-check requirements if your school sets them. Crew members wear ID, and we keep the group small so your staff knows who is in the building.

Questions from schools and daycares

Can you clean during the school day?

A day porter covers restrooms, spills and cafeteria cleanup while school is in session. Everything else is better after dismissal.

Do you handle changing areas and nap rooms?

Yes. Changing areas are disinfected at the end of each shift by the label, and nap mats and cots can be wiped on whatever schedule your center sets.
